Retired Assistant Inspector-General of Police, AIG, Emmanuel Ifeanyi Ezeozue who died recently was buried, today, in his home town, Nanka, Orumba, North Local Government Area of Anambra State.

The Commissioner of Police, Anambra State, Nnanna Oji Ama who represented the Inspector-General of Police, Olatuni Disu, led a delegation of senior police officers at the solemn occasion to honor the late senior officer.

He described the late AIG Ezeozue as a distinguished police officer and accomplished public servant who made significant contributions to the Nigeria Police Force and served his fatherland with dedication and commitment.

He commiserated with the bereaved family, friends, colleagues, and associates of the deceased, noting that his worthy service and contributions to policing would remain part of his enduring legacy.

He prayed to God Almighty to grant the deceased eternal rest and grant the bereaved family the strength and fortitude to bear the irreparable loss and appreciated the dignitaries, serving and retired police officers, and other well-wishers who honored the departed senior officer, describing their presence as a demonstration of the enduring bond of comradeship and solidarity within the Nigeria Police Force.
