LAGOS– The management of Nigeria media outlet National Podium has extended warm congratulations to Assistant Inspector-General of Police Olohundare Moshood Jimoh on his appointment as the head of Zone 2 Headquarters, Onikan, Lagos.
In the congratulatory message published in the National Podium, the Editor-in-Chief Mr. Suleiman Tajudeen, described the AIG's appointment as a well-deserved recognition of his tireless service, resourcefulness, and unwavering dedication to national duty.
He noted that AIG Jimoh's emergence as the head of Zone 2 headquarters is a testament to his professionalism, exceptional leadership qualities, and proven track record in crime prevention and control.
The congratulatory message, signed by Tajudeen on behalf of staff members including Gani, Wale, Tunde, Austin, Mercy, Tola, Ibrahim, Monisola, Ade, and Bunmi, expressed profound happiness at the appointment of AIG Jimoh as AIG of Zone 2 Headquarters which oversees Lagos and Ogun State Police Commands, making it one of the most strategic commands in the country.
Responding to the gesture in a statement signed by Zone 2 Police Headquarters public relations officer DSP Afolayan Gbenga on friday, the command expressed gratitude to the National Podium for its thoughtful message and goodwill and reiterated its commitment to maintaining a professional, cordial, and open relationship with the media community.
The command further appreciate the continuous support of the media and vowed to remain dedicated to sustaining the partnership in the interest of public safety and security.
